Large heavy Solid Silver Biedermeier period wine goblet or chalice with highly ornate cast silver waiste circa 1837 with traditional edge work and flared shaped , gothic tulip shaped bowl.

It is quite rare to find genuine Biedermeier silver , and especially for such larger pieces, as most were melted down to pay for various conflicts. This is a superb quality item.
