Title   Matched pair of solid Australian cedar glazed door bookcases adjustable shelves french polished finish

Description

Matched pair of solid Australian cedar glazed door bookcases with adjustable shelves and french polished finish .

Most unusual to have a matched pair of glazed bookcases. These may have been either side of the fire place. There are minute differences to top mouldings and in height, possibly due to Victorian flooring. I assume these solid colonial coastal cedar facades were originally built into a stately home and were enhanced later to be free standing bookcases and were adjusted in size to accomodate a particular library..
