A very good pair of antique cast iron chairs. These were designed by the famous Biedermeier period architect, Karl F. Schinkel who designed the most significat 19th cenutry buildings in Berlin, that still stand today. These armchairs are adorned with antheniums, rams heads and raised on roman hoofen feet. The seats and back are constructed of close spaced steel rods giving wonderful storng support. The matt black enamel finish prevents any rust and there is no sign of any. These superb armchairs will not blow over in the wind as they are substantially heavy being made of solid iron.

Antique Roman marble and semi precious stone mosaic table on wrought iron 1940's base. The superb quality stone pieces of this Roman design mosaic floor with onyx and rouge marble sections with alternate coloured leaf stone highlights. It is difficult to date or authenticate this Roman mosaic as it has been set into a 1940's wrought iron table base so far removed from its presumed archaeological origin. As with all antiquities that have lost their provenance, the authenticity can be disputed. However these stone mosaics serve a very decorative purpose as a table top. Wrought iron table base with curled legs echoing the mosaic design.

A well beautiful stainless steel table with ornate Victorian or provincial French powder coated aluminium cast base. A practical size that is ideal as a patio dining table the ornate base with cast scrollwork and ornate central stretcher , makes this a nice sturdy table base.
The stainless steel top with precision welded corners is brand new but will age beautifully over the provincial summers. It is more hard wearing than the original zinc tops that were so popular in the late 19th early 20th century. Perfect for the conservatory or master gardener.
