Antique George II pollard
oak writing bureau desk with fitted interior and rare pen drawers with pigeon holes, Georgian circa 1750.
Beautifully fitted interior with drawers and arched arcade all flanked by a rare pair of original pen drawers.
All drawers in oak with turned brass knobs .
The drop front desk opens with a steel key to reveal a writing surface of W83cm, D66cm plus internal drawers and at a convenient legroom clearance of 67cm.
Below the fall front are four brass handled drawers with brass escutcheons
and steel locks.
Blonde oak in very solid condition and nicely french polished finish. All drawers open
smoothly and draw runners have all been serviced and adjusted for easy
operation.
